Wow, great article posted front page on the Sunday, October 11 Houston Chronicle Newspaper. “Praise for Technology: Tweeting during church services receives blessings from pastors.” Really excited that Pastor Kerry jumped in and is experimenting with new technologies and connecting with the congregation. I am still amazed and how church is viewed and how this sort of thing might create controversy in the public. I believe the crew in Oklahoma City were throwing a going away party for Aaron Havens who is now living and ministering in Mexico. My response: I probably have not discovered the level of boldness that Christ had for His Church while he was here on this earth. This life is definitely a struggle. I wonder everyday why it seems so hard to do it well. I too have many apologies to give; but better to live them out than just offer words. I thank God everyday for His favor and grace.

Great job, once again to Apple. The ad featured on the New York Times site, NYTimes.com kicks some serious butt. Very very cool, very effective. Talk about creating brand awareness, reinforcement, loyalty and buzz. Hopefully this stays up for a while. Good stuff. The Internet is evolving, seriously, just turn off your computer for a few weeks then turn it back on and take note of the change. It is that fast.

if 2008 people come to The Student MInistry services at Woodlands Church for ONE WEEKEND on Sept. 13 & 14, then all 5 pastors of The Student Ministry(Mike, Mark, Jon, Clayton, and Daniel) will wax their chests, live on stage the following weekend. 

There will be tears. There will be screaming. This will be hilarious!

BUT, it’s all up to you!!! Tell your friends to come. Tell your friends to tell their friends…WE have to get 2008 people in order to see the funniest waxing session ever!
